How to choose the perfect makeup for your skin - Part 3 - RICE

An ancestral Asian beauty secret, rice is a relatively unknown asset that nevertheless has multiple uses in cosmetics and has the added benefit to suit all skin types, leaving a soft and perfect skin. It is popular for its softening, emollient, protective, moisturizing and mattifying attributes. A clever little grain where nothing is lost and which invites itself in treatment products as well as make-up in his traditional rice starch powder form. To each his rice: those with oily skin (which tend to glow) will appreciate the absorbent and mattifying properties of rice starch, dry skin, they will prefer his waxy, protective and moisturizing finish. Mature skin will look more towards oil rice bran for the anti-aging action, which also improves the quality of skin tissue. And as the rice is well tolerated by the skin, sensitive skin can afford it too. Rice is also a very good scrub as there are other powders (those from the grain and the germ) that are ideal for complex abrasives that remove impurities in depth, as does the grain itself when it is ground. For centuries, Asian women have used rice water to beautify their face, body and hair. Rice water exhibits hair care effects such as decreasing surface friction and improving hair elasticity by the rich content of inositol, a carbohydrate, that can protect, repair and strengthen hair fiber.
